Aluminium Cast Socketed
Alutec offer a range of aluminium cast socketed downpipes, which can be used as a replacement for cast iron downpipes. The Tudor range is a circular cast socketed downpipe and Traditional, which offers a choice of both square and rectangular cast socketed downpipes.
The Tudor range of aluminium circular downpipes represents the ultimate low maintenance replacement for cast iron systems on listed, heritage or period style new build properties. Manufactured from marine grade aluminium, the range is 65 per cent lighter than cast iron systems, making it easier and safer to handle on site.
Alutec Traditional cast socketed square and rectangular downpipes are used as a replacement for cast iron on period, listed or traditional style new builds, combining aluminium’s inherent benefits of longevity and low maintenance. Manufactured to original British Standard cast iron dimensions.
Both the Tudor and the Traditional range of downpipes are designed to work with Alutec three traditional gutters profiles – Half Round, Victorian Ogee and Moulded Ogee.
